To capture the intensity of the moment. To move, be moved, and, when we do it well, move others. Everything I experience, see, read and do contributes to who I am, and who I am is inseparable to what I bring to my theatre work. And I begin every warm-up with shaking. Theater through images, stories and sounds that are smart and silly, political and personal, breathtakingly beautiful and not at all obvious. Tell a story with words and pictures and movement, but tell it in a surprising, unexpected and moving way. Tell it humbly for the sake of the work, not for any personal glory.“
